I was eating dinner at the bar when I read on the news ticker about a possible tsunami in Hawaii. I immediately thought of my best friend, who is playing bass on a cruise ship off Hawaii. I called him but there was no answer.
Later, I received this email from my friend.

I don't know what degree and how much schooling you have to get to predict a tsunami...and cause a whole evacuation of Hawaii...and cause all the ships to come out and clutter the ocean with sailboats, yachts, and even navy warships...only to see the ocean completely calm and 80 degree weather out here in Hawaii...apparently they were tracking this tsunami and then it vanished...
Nothing to report here in Hawaii...
